World Youth Day

World Youth Day this past summer was one of the best times of my life. I really can’t explain in words how fun and awesome it was. My faith has gotten so much stronger over the past couple of months due to the fact that i went to world youth day. I remember walking around saying hi to other people in the streets of madrid, singing in the subway, walking around waving my US flag, praying at churches, trading in tickets to for meals, seeing the Pope, going to an airfield to sleep. Hahhahaha if you went you’d probably remember the thunderstorm that happened and how we still had mass and everybody was going crazy. Man, good times. I remember climbing up buildings just so I could get a better view of the pope as he rode by with his pope mobile the day that he first came in Spain. Everybody there was super friendly, I don’t think I have ever been surrounded by so many friendly and nice people that shared the same belief, faith, and religion as me. Meeting people from all over the world, I wish I gave them my number or something so we could communicate now but it’s all good cause I’m pretty sure I’m going to Brazil in 2013. When my youth group sent out information about World Youth Day in 2013 I was the first one to sign up, that’s how much I want to go. I really can’t wait, I would do anything to do it all over again. Those were probably one of the best two weeks of my life and the pictures from World Youth Day never gets old. They bring back so many good memories. I think I’m gonna cry from writing this lol.
